Got an opportunity for a 52lb Dwyer Dauntless, virtually brand new. I'm very interested in this longbow. The question that I had was this: will the 3050 CE Predator IIs work with this bow, or will I need to upgrade? I'm using the PIIs for my Sage at 45lbs. I figured with my DL at 26-26.5 on a recurve, this arrow setup should work. Need help from the braintrust.

It depends...they might. However, I wouldn't let the possibility of them not shooting the same arrow keep you from getting the bow.

If it's 52# @28" and your drawing 26-26.5 I'd say yes they would work, I don't have experience with that brand of arrow but I'd start with a .500 if I were in your shoesComment

3050's are .500 spine deflection - they will work just fine!Comment

Yep they should work fine. You may have to play with the point weight some as the two bows might not like the same weight up front but other than that you should be good.Comment
