    Water Tank

Been installing a new water system for our family ranch. Just had a 6' tall x 25' D concrete tank built. Very happy with it. Tied it in last weekend and she is filling up as you read - so long as its daytime and the sun is shinning. Solar powered pump fed, supplies 3 troughs spread about 1/2 mile apart and overflows to a dirt tank.
The top pics are from this past weekend when we actually tied 'er in and the lower ones are from the process which I've been piecing together over the past 6 months.

Gonna build a deck on it soon and be swimming in it this summer. PUMPED!

I like it! Looks like a big time project for sure. I've got some friends that live in Nolan Co.

If you don't mind me asking..........where did you get the smaller concrete troughs and how much were they? I need one about that size.

It looks like you are DEFINITELY doing it right, that is going to be nice. Where is the ranch located?

This ranch is between Hwy 70 going to Blackwell and 153 to Winters. About 15 miles north of Blackwell on 70.

The tanks came from Lander's Septic & Conc. Products in Grape Creek. Good quality. I used two sizes 6'x8'x2'oval and 2'x8'x1'square. The float valves he uses are badace. ~$400/450 for small.
Poly pipe and fittings I got at Cooper's Supply in Coleman.
Tank was built by Terry Homesly of Sheffield area.
All are well worthy of a pitch here.

Yea she does. I'm not actually in any of these pics as I took them all. She ALWAYS has to know right where I am.
