Bushnell Banner Rifle Scope for my 22?

I've decided to finally put a scope on my Ruger 10-22 LR.I didn't want to get a scope built special for a 22 so that if needed I can use this scope on a larger caliber rifle down the road. My budget for scope, rings, and base is $200, so I've settled on a Bushnell Banner 3-9 with a 40mm objective, with the redhead z2 ring and base combo. All together I'm looking at $175 to turn my stock 10-22 into a squirrel killing machine. Anybody with experience with these scopes?

I had one on my 25-06 and it worked just fine! I don't think I payed 175 for it though, I would price shop some.

It will work fine. You should be able to get for less than $200.00. Check out eBay.
