    New Light Mounting Option

I have been trying different mounting options for my light when hog hunting and when discussing it with my dad he came up with this idea and I asked my mom, ever so kindly, to stitch it up for me. I had her stitch in two pockets of elastic, one for the small green laser designator in the pics and a larger piece for a larger Coleman flashlight with a red lens. The tactical switch is held in position with another piece of elastic. I hope to try it out in the next few days.

                Bushings ?
                Who needs stinkin bushings?

This is how I am currently doing mine, thanks to an idea provided by Sam Stephens.

By the way - 3Ricvers sells an item called a "gadget attachment", that is a strap on bushing thingy, that has rubber straps like a thunderhorn quiver, and is rubber coated to keep it from scratching the bow. I don't have one, but they look like they would work real good.

I still like EnW's idea, and am going to have to explore it some.
Just seems to make sense to have the light on your hand.

Theres several options out there. Rick I'm Cheap!!!!!!!!!!!!! I used whatever I had laying around and It worked.

But I'm always looking for better options. Does your method have a pressure switch or do you have to push the button on the end of the light?

The glove gadget is a good option being that we have lots of skeeters here.

Shawn, they don't get any cheaper minded than me.
If I can build it, I durn sure ain't gonna buy it.

I have a pressure switch for the light in the picture, jut didn't have it attached.

I'm working on an idea for a mount that will have s hands free activation at 75% draw. I got the idea when Rick mentioned it a few weeks ago. Hopefully i'll have something put together in the next few weeks.

Switch activated on a mechanism like a clicker. I still want to try that, just haven't got around to building it yet. Will be anxiously awaiting your report and demo of the build.

While we're on the subject of switches. I normally don't use my pressure switch. I haven't shot at anything using the light yet, but I have shined it on deer several times, and got no reaction from them at all, even when I manually turned the light on with the factory switch, so for me, as long as I can get by without the pressure switch, it is one less thing to have to mess with.
