Who on here has a Massie Longhorn? I have 2. A 66" 2 piece takedown, 57lbs at 28", and a 62" one piece, 56 lbs at 28". My wife shoots a 60" one piece, 46lbs at 28". I had a 64" one piece, 55lbs at 28" that traded for a Black Widow recurve - worst trade I ever made.

I don't have one, but wish I had one in the 60's. I should have gotten a custom when I had the chance -
I had a 68" Longhorn, but I sold it. I could never put the first shot of any shooting session where I was looking.
It was due to the grip. I'm a recurve man and non recurve grips feel uncomfortable to me.Comment

I do. 52 @ 28" - 62" maybe a 64" I would have to look again. There are 3 of us that go to a few TBOT shoots that have a "Longhorn" or two.Comment

I have three
62" gaboon ebony with bamboo limbs carbon strip, was 56 @ 26 but I took about 7 lbs off it, now 55@28 .
60" maccasar ebony with black loqust bamboo cores carbon strip 56@28 hand polished this was my wedding gift from my wife it has our names and wedding date written by bow info so I can remember. It matches my old Massie reverse handle and my Massie traditional.
60" cocobola with bamboo limbs 50@28.

Shoot Massie, Morrison and Thunderstick(Reynolds) and decided on the later. They all shot great, so $$$ made the difference.

I've got a Bocote riser/Bamboo limb 62"er that is 48# @ 28". A great shooter for sure.

I'v had 4 got 2 left, neetz and i got almost matching in wood bamboo and carbon mines a 66/ 52@28 and her's is a 62/ 40@26, and both are shooters. jeff made them the summer before he quit make'n bows, don't think i'll ever sell them, kind a the last of the real massie longhorns, i killed a bunch of critters with mine. had the one he made for david "the pres of the tsla" for awile but a good friend had to have it, i think he still does.Comment

I have 2 Longhorns, one of which was one of Jeff's earliest bows he built in the small shop behind his house.
Also have a "M" one piece recurve.
