I got two emails saying I was drawn for a hunt in December and my son was drawn for a youth hunt in November. Awesome!

I got #1 and he got #4. Last year was the first time I ever got to hunt there and it was in unit 4 so at least I know what to expect there.

viper, yes I did. he was very appreciative of the trip even though they didnt kill anything. he said they saw two deer. what unit will you be hunting this weekend?

i got picked for unit 8, 2nd biggest unit. dont know what to expect.

I was the one that got Txfire409's hunt, and it was great. we didnt get anything but I got to spend time in the outdoors, and pass some fieldcrafting off to my son. I talked to the rangers on Sunday night and they were saying the harvest numbers were down from last year. They got rain yesterday so that might pick the activity up some.
