Double L the weekend of the 26th

A group of us are headed back to Double L in a couple of weeks. Included are myself, Bisch, MoJo68, and Ol' Man. Texastaxi is a maybe.

Al, I think his nick is Atombomb, is unfortunately going through a divorce and will not be making the trip this year, and Buff is working hard on his own place.

They can hunt 6 at the most, so there is a spot available if anyone would like to join. Hogs and exotics, check the Double L web site for prices.

I think most are going to arrive late afternoon of the 26th (Friday) and hunt the evening. We will leave midday on Sunday. Times are flexible with Pops.

If Kevin decides not to go, we will have two spots open.

This will be my fourth year in a row to make this trip, and I have taken a nice exotic on each trip....knock wood for this year. Everyone had a shot opportunity last year and we took a couple of nice fallows, addax, and several pigs as well.

I know it is late notice, but maybe someone will be able to make it. These things are always more fun with a good group.

Is that the place in Victoria? I got a wedding in Katy on the 26th, but should be heading back down on Saturday or Sunday. Wouldn't mind doing a one day hog or doe hunt if possible.

Yes it is near Victoria. I am not sure about does, he mostly puts male/trophy animals on his place. They hunt the hogs at night under lights, but you do see them as well sometimes during the daylight exotic hunts.

I saw something about a $100 one day hog hunt and a blackuck doe for $150. Let me know of you speak with Pops anytime soon, if not i'll try to give him a call this week.

The 150.00 is a trophy fee, still costs 100.00 per day to hunt.
