I like it. What steel and thickness did you use? I've started one made of 440 SS, but haven't finished it.

Hey Bary I'm on the green screen to.
This knife is now at my house, I bought it for my father-in-law, last year Bary made a skinning knife that matches this filet knife. I wanted to get my FIL a matching set of knives, one for skinning deer and one for fish and I'm going to have the blades engraved. These knives are very nice, feel great in the hand and are EXTREMELY sharp.

                    Thanks double A

Thank you for all the kind words, not sure on the thickness it is 440 SS heat and cryogenic treated. I have one for myself and it is a deer/hog/turkey cleaning machine. Found a couple really good damascus suppliers. I have a couple blades in the works now. Just so dang hot in the shop no A/C yet. Thanks again. Grizzly really appreciate your patients!! That zebra really polishes out beautifully!

                    Take care and God Bless

I sure wish I could get the picture of the first skinner that Bary made for me to load, it is beautiful. For some reason I can't get the pic on here.

                          Bary,
Let me know about going hunting. I love to hunt new places and see new scenery. I love to deer hunt but I'll hunt anything. Its been a few years since I duck hunted, most of the guys in this area hunt the marsh and it's some pretty hard hunting for a couple of ducks. I'd love to hunt some timber or something. Let me know and maybe we can get something planned.
