The more research I did I think im going with the Sony HDR XR500, is seems like a really good camera for my purpose, retails for around $1100 but can get a good used one for a few hundred dollars if the auction doesnt get too high. I was also debating between the HDR 150 but the 500 has a larger lense and better photos but does not have better zoom. Any info and tips would be greatly apprishiated!

Go take a look at my videos. There a few of them on this page. All my videos were shot with a Sony XR-150. It has a 25X zoom. All you will need for bow hunting. Plus it holds like 9 hours of footage on the hard drive. I think I paid about $550 for it 2 years ago. You can find it cheaper now. Give it a look.
