Brother and I went to Guy Tx and hunted the San Bernard River with buddies from East Texas. Brought 19 dogs and had a blast. Here are a few pics from the trip. Hope you guys had fun at Bownanza!

Are you always PO-ed, or just when you're taking LDPs?

Looks like you put a dent in 'em! Great pictues, too!
Except the 2 with the knife still in the hog.

I dont remember total count but of the bigger ones I think we had 6. we didnt hunt 19 dogs. we had to rotate. These dogs that come from East TX hunt smaller property and thicker terrain. These Hogs we hunt on this 9000 acres on San Bernard are straight runners. The Bays almost always break cause they get outran, no BS!! we had 1 whole pack bayed up at 450yds out on GPS and ended up not getting to em until over 1.5 miles! The only "cover" these hogs run to in the river, other than that its pretty open and hard to stop em. We have had other groups of hog doggers come on the land and their bay dogs had trouble stoppin em if they werent used to long distance. We had a good hunt though! On Sunday morning we were driving to a bay over mile away on 4 wheelers and a 300+ (others said 350+) boar ran across the road. it was a MONSTER. had no dogs in the buggies, all bayed up and scattered so we were on the move.

Thorthunder - got to hunt with a few experienced Dogo's a few weeks ago. They stopped a few 250's in their tracks! I was more than impressed
