I've only been to two shoots my whole life, and both of them were trad-only shoots. How does this one work if you're shooting trad? Is there a trad longbow men's or is the trad class lumped with recurve and longbow shooters? What about wood vs aluminum/carbon arrows? Is there a class specifically for wood? If you shoot a recurve, can you shoot using an elevated rest? Can you shoot one round with a longbow and another round the next day with a recurve? What's the maximum distance for the trad class? Do you shoot in a group with other trad shooters or is it a mixed group with compound and trad shooters?

Sorry for all the questions. Still new to all this and wanting to learn. May not be able to make it this weekend anyway, but thought I'd ask just in case.

Equin,NOTHING is as fun as a trad only shoot!! ASA is a little more "stuff shirt" than just regular 3-D, but not too bad. I'm sure there are some others that will chime in that can answer these questions. Hope you make the Hill Country Shootout, That is a great all trad shoot!

I should know something more definite in the morning, been a little under the weather but will know when I get up in the morning. I know that's cutting it close but I don't want to drive 2.5 hrs. one way if I really don't feel like competing.

Been a long long time since I shot at IBA. Back in 1981-82 I guess. It was the primo place back then and I assume it is still that way. Wish I could make it.
