My Friend's Trad and Recurve Bows- pic incl

My friend Weldon in Marble Falls has been making bows for friends and family (my oldest brother in Austin). He started it as a hobby but we are trying to talk him into doing it full time or at least while he isnt hunting...He has graciously allowed me to post some pics of his previous work...this is not an advertisement, just thought some of you traditionalists would appreciate his work

this is my brother's bow, it looks like my old Brackenberry

Brand new bows that we have never seen before? Awesome! Be careful that you don't get knocked down by a guy named Kestimator trying to get to them first.

here is a pic of Weldon with a pig he shot on his ranch in Marble Falls, he shoots traditional bows and his rifle of choice is an old rolling block 188-something

Incredible bows. Looks like a seasoned bowyer's work for sure.

Nice stuff. I am opening a couple of businesses in the Marble Falls area maybe I can set up a visit. In years past there was another bowyer in that region yet I can't recall what he called his bows. He did really nice work as well.

Those are some awesome looking bows, he should be a full time bowyer.

Weldon Holden as in Holdin the Tradition. Tell Weldon hello for me. I haven't seen him in years. I know I was not making bows the last time I saw him so it was before 97'

Very nice looking bows! I would like to see a pic of his rifle, as I have a Winchester replica of a 1885 falling block 45/70.

                              Cool.

Hello all. Im new here and wanted to know, does your friend make the quivers too?

I have an old recurve of my grandfathers that does not have bolt holes for a quiver. I need a slip on type.
