How to make a 8 year old happy on Saturday

You stop by Bob's shop on Friday and pick up his Blackhills longbow
My 8 year old is on cloud nine and he will be wearing us out in a few years if he keeps it up. Was gong to wait until Christmas but I couldn't. I guess I get him a dozwn woodies for Christmas.
Its a little 40# bow and it will flat zip an arrow. Ended up with a good 4 shot group on his boar at 13 yards for his first 4 out of it.

nice! i just recieve an awesome bow for my 7 year old. i was gonna wait till christmas as well, but he already got it this weekend.

I have a question for you guys that goto a bunch of these shoots. We went to the Texas Trad shoot at Austin Archery this year. He was wondering if he had to shoot from the close stakes. I was wondering if I could just back him out to 10 -15 yards on all the shots instead of at the closest stakes? If he keeps shooting every day he will outshoot me fairly quickly I'm sure. He shot until his fingertips were swollen today.
