    Hill Country ten down...

The wind around Fredericksburg finally laid down enough to hunt Teusday evening, and the deer began to move again. Shot this guy at 30 yards trailing a doe: montec G5's haven't failed me yet. Lots of sign of pre-rut, and with some moisture and cooler temperatures, buck action should be hot & heavy....The pressure's off me: I'm officially into camp piddle mode....

Great buck. I'm interested in knowing what kind of blood trail you had. I'm at a crossroad with Montec's. They've been lethal and penetrate great but my blood trails have been next to nothing.
