    LRGV Teniente Tract??

Wondering if I can get some info on this tract. I am not looking for anyone to give up there secret spots. I'm just looking for a little info to get a jump start on hunting this tract. I am scheduled to be there for a archery hunt on Dec 8-12. If anyone is going to be there on those same dates let me know. I will be flying solo on this hunt and if all goes well I may need a helping hand. Thanks Ray

Hey everyone ... Did a search on google for tinientes tract ... Read through all of your posts had to get on!! I got drawn for my second hunt on this refuge (archery) . Last time I hunted this particular refuge I had a hard time with the tall grass ... Man was it difficult !! But ended up arrowing a nice 10 point 143 3/8 B&C.. I figured out how to get on them ..It starts out with your few days of scouting use them... I would sit on the county roads and watch where the deer were crossing . After pinpointing a few nice crossings I set my aluminum tripod up 100 -125 yards in .. U can bend limbs into tripod and zip tie them on ur tripod for concealment.. Don't break them of course you would e in violation of refuge rules and will get in trouble if caught .. Game Wardens are on refuge so leave beer for after at home!! Anyways have fun shoot strait... By the way my hunt is scheduled for Jan 6-9 2011 .. Anyone else in for those dates would like to know how it goes for you.. I know I will !!!
