Well, I'm absolutely ashamed to say that I've been a lazy dog and haven't finished a set of Arrow Dynamics Trad Lites that I started over two years ago. Prior to moving to TX in late 2008, I had dipped these in several coats of Bohning Lacquer and hand crested them carefully. I placed them in a arrow box for the move to TX... and there they sat. And sat... and sat.
Fast forward to last year. I finally chopped the Banana cut feathers I wanted to put on these, and abandoned the idea of having the cock vanes all having white / black / red splices - although I did one to see how it would look. Came out ok... but it didn't really impress me enough to splice many more.
So today, over two years after starting these, I finally decided to sit down and finish them. I'm going to let them sit for 24hrs and will shoot them tomorrow evening. Looking forward to breaking in a new batch of arrows. Might have to retire my long-term Gold Tip Traditionals... well... maybe.
Here they are:
All the best,
Glenn
