    1st Timer

Went in with no perceived notions and came out READY to do it again ASAP! The facility is Super the staff is great the shoot was a Blast, the shooters were friendly and informative! T.H.E. scoring was a blast and could be very humbling for the greedy, spent the day Sunday with Jimmy great guy, wish him all the luck in the future!I have put in a request with the financial officer for a CCR Membership, I would like to get into this on the ground level. The future plans for CCR look great! Good food good people and a great shoot what else is there beside a good woman and a tasty beverage!

Great Shoot and an Awesome Facility at CCR. You have got to love the T.H.E scoring system. It is the real hunting deal! So on target #1 with the tree covering the deers neck just in front of the vitals, I SMACK the side of the tree, the arrow snaps off at my fletching, my arrow actually ends up in the deer's hind qtr at almost parallel to the deer. -5 points and a jacked up arrow! (:-) I have never seen anything like that before. We had a blast despite some of the poor shots our group had! Jarrett shot a bear dang near where the wisdom tooth would be, then Justin (Shooter McClintick) drills the same bear in the cheek right after him.

There is no comparison between the two, that would be like comparing "apples to oranges". CCR offers considerably more targets and shooting scenarios that can be found at any other course in Texas. CCR is a course that can challenge even the most accomplished shooters. Thanks to the experience & knowledge of the CCR staff you will always be pushing your personal limits when you step on one of the many ranges at CCR. I have been a Cowtown and Irving Bowhunter's member in the past, and have been a CCR member since day one.

CCR is very nice no doubt, but it is a "for profit" place and the other clubs are not!

                Profit

For Profit or not the CCR facility is state of art and going to get better. I have no knowledge of either Cowtown or Irving and plan to shoot both, but sometimes that not for profit is loosely spoken, AGAIN I have no knowledge of either and look forward to enjoying both facilities. I just would not base my shooting venue on that parameter. Not shooting for debate just my .02
Did you participate in the Deerman Finger?

No but I have shot at CCR many times. It is nice there is no debate about it. But they are built and ran for competely different reasons. Cowtown or any of the "clubs" that I have ever been a part of do not have a paid staff.
