    KJO this past weekend....

Well we had another great trip out to Keith Johns Outdoors this past weekend.

Myself,Momma D, Chris, His wife, Dan, Randy, Mike and Rob all met up for what turned out to be a very wet weekend.

Even with it raining somewhere close to the 5 inch mark over the weekend we were able to put a few animals down in our long sits on stand(Trying to catch critters between the rain). A total of 3 hogs were killed and one ram. More hogs were shot but not recovered.

We all saw plenty of animals while on stand but the rain just wouldn't let up and they were either to far out of no clear shots.

Keith, Ronnie and his boy Dalton did everything in their power to keep us soaked hunters in good spirits and ready for the next long sit!! It just wasn't to be this time out.

Despite the rain, mud (and LOTS of it), and long sits I had a blast!! I got to spend time with some old friends, and meet a couple new ones. I am looking forward to getting this same group back together(if we can work it out to all be there at the same time) and shareing more hunting camp memories.

No I do not have any pictures as I was to busy jacking around to take any. I know Chris and Jennifer snapped some. Maybe he will post em up on here.

One last thing....... As some of you know, I have had a big time jinx hung over my shoulder since last year on hogs......... The jinx has been lifted!!!!!! Nothing huge but I was able to connect on a good eating size hog AND recover it!!!!

    Now NOTHING is safe!

Yep, had a great time. Man, it was a MUDDY, sloppy mess! I am still cleanin mud out of my truck and everything else I took!

But, despite the rain and the muck, a good time was had by all. I was able to put a perfect pit sized 80 lb porker on the ground.

Cant wait to make another trip to KJO.

The beans were great, but I'm still green fogging the house! Even the dog left room once last night!

Wow it was wet out there, where the pic was snapped of the ram had water standing and that is high ground .

I love this ranch, have not had time to schedule a hunt this year with Keith. But maybe next year i will get to.
