    two bags?

Headed to Austin tomorrow and plan on going to Precision Camera. I am looking for a bag. Is it a good ideal to have more than one? Example one to load all your stuff in and then a smaller daybag for excursions you know what you need and dont want to take everything? So far I have a D90, 70-200 lens, two filters, memory, battery, charger etc. Looking for another smaller lens, tripod and a bag or two.

i have one bigger bag that can hold my camera body and three lenses, along with the charger, filters, a point and shoot camera and some other little stuff. i then have a walk around bag that can basically just hold the camera with a lens on it. i end up using the walk around bag most the time just because it is easier to carry.

I have two bags, one being about twice as big as the other. It wasn't necessarily a strategy, just the way it ended up. I bought the big one first and then later supplemented with the smaller one. It does give me a little more versatility. I can carry the big one, the small one, or both, depending on my needs. Not a bad way to go.

I have two - one that holds everything and a smaller one. I NEVER use the smaller one. My big one is a backpack bag, and it's easier to just sling it on my back than it is to move stuff into a smaller bag and then wish I had something later after I left half the stuff at home.

I ended up with a Lowepro flipside 400 AW.
