ADL7 Ranch... Simply Amazing (long pixel heavy write up)

This past weekend my family and I, along with Kelly G and his daughter, went to the ADL7 Ranch in Crystal City. We arrived somewhere around 2AM and went straight to bed. 2.5 hours and a cup of coffee later we were off to the hunt. i was hoping we could drive BAMBI, but no dice. Since im 16 you might see why

that night i wanted to varmint hunt, but i had no light... luckily Kelly G had several marauders, one of which i was allowed to use... but i was too pumped to take pics...... no animals presented themselves in the dense fog.

the next morning, my dad finally got the hog he was looking for!!

a new tradition HUP (Hanging Up Pictures) cuz we decided it was less effort!!

You know most of those animals are half tame don't you?

Yeah. My bride loves to go out there and hand feed them.
Sometimes they'll even let her pet them.

Have you ever been to that ranch?
What do you consider half tame?
Have you ever heard the saying, "go pee in your own pool"?

Talk about a great place. These guys have it going on. That truck is totally awesome. I was somewhat concerned in the beginning to ride up top, but after we started moving i was at awe. Talk about smooooth, that suspension is totally super. Riding up there gave me a feeling we were on a safari, looking around at the animals and their habitat brought my mind into a different world, one i had never been. Just relaxing. And talk about relaxing, the accommodations themselves are great. Hugh wide open great room was surrounded with animal mounts of all sorts. Sleeping quarters each with 2 double beds and their own bath areas. TV, internet, pool tables, bar, outside firepits all 1st class. I'll get Reed to post up some pics to share. Thanks Brad75 and the crew for making our stay a memory we will build on.

                tending the fire,
                Bob G.

No lodge pics??? with your skilz, sounds like a great reason to go back.
Make sure you take pics of the gator out there as well, if you see it before it sees you.
BTW- did I tell you I shot a hog? Someone had to bring home the bacon!
