I was there last night. It is BEYOND green! And make sure that you bring a Thermacell! I was sitting over water and got hammered by the mosquitoes! I was hunting for an axis doe and hogs and didn't see any of those. I did see 4 whitetail does and I know the other guys saw axis bucks, blackbuck and whitetails. I think the hunting was slowed by the heat and the coyote that howled 50 yards from my stand!
They are great guys and I had a blast. I am going back on Wednesday and hope to get an axis on the ground!

I was there when all the rain hit....Like Stunt said...... it is green green green. While I was there hunting my buffalo we all saw tons of critters. The group that was there had plenty of shot ops. but where more concered with killing their bottles than they were animals. No one could stay on stand very long.

Just got back yesterday, and yes it is very green. We saw lots of quality animals while driving to our stands, but they were not very interested in the yellow feed. A few good animals were seen at feeders but just could not close the deal. It was our first time there and after all the talk that people had to say about Keith and his operation, we found out that it was nothing but the truth. Keith, Wade and Ronnie are some darn good guys, they made all of us including the kids feel very welcome and did whatever it took to make us happy. I will let Muddybud post up a story of his 12 yr old boy with his very first bow kill; a nice ram. Overall a BIG thumbs up

I was the only non-family hunter. Keith went hunting himself but didn't see anything he wanted to take.
It seemed as if everyone saw the exact opposite species! :-)
I'm going out Wednesday night so I'll keep you posted!

Any tips or pointers for us that have never been? Anything I should bring with me out side of the norm?

Forrest, fired up is exactly right. We were all so fired up about the hunt that even if the kids didn't kill anything we were still going to have a good time.\

I'm going to give Muddybud a call and see if he wants me to post a pic and story..Lates
