When I first saw the 3D Evolution suit at BP in the Max 1, I fell in love. I hunt out of tripods and towers and tree stands and really thought this suit would make me disappear. they were hard to find, but I finally got one out of the BP catalog.
I couldn't wait to use it. this past weekend, I hunted ground blinds a couple times and didn't need it and hunted my towers when it was cold and used my polarfleece.
I set up a lock-on in a pecan tree in my river bottom to try and intercept a big 10 that is showing at my Hilltop feeder in the middle of the night. I had a camera on the area and had the 5 hogs show up. I went in the second day and hunted the stand one evening. Prime time to try my suit. Well, when I put it on, I started to worry. The thing is polyester and LOUD. I wor it anyway. I got in the stand and was afraid to move a muscle. This stuff is as loud or louder during movement than anything I have ever used. If the pigs had come in, I wouldn't have been able to draw my bow. I had a really nice 10 with a kicker come in. He was too young to kill, but if he had been a mega buck, I would have just had to let him walk. No way to draw. It took FOREVER for me to raise my binos to look at him. No way to move and shift my camera to him.
So, when I get home, I put the thing in the dryer to try and quiet it down. So far it's been in there tumbling for a couple hours. Still loud.
My opinion, the suit is useless for bow hunting.
