I have built two in the last two years and made them out of square tubein but I am wanting to make 1 or 2 a little bigger.. mine right now are 4x6 which 1 of them I bow hunt of.. I am lookin for all enclosed blinds.. Just tryin to get some pics and ideas to try somethin different.. The last one I built has a trap door in it and is going to last forever I can promise ya. I have built a couple of 6'x6' blinds on about 10' towers...this is my latest. All the walls are built in sections and the floor breaks down into 2 sections the entire blind would stack into the back of a pickup. I want to make the porch a little larger and add a stairway or better ladder. The siding is actually 1/4" hardboard that I applied epoxy to. This will be my 2nd season hunting out of it and I need to install some fender washers to the screws holding the siding onto the tubing as some of the screws have pulled through. the Epoxy was free and the siding was $5 a sheet... I knew it wasn't going to last that long. I will reside the blind this next year with aluminum sheets and install some 1" insulation panels.

View from the inside. The windows are made with 1" angle and plexi inserted to them. need to rivet the plexi as the construction adhesive didn't work that well. I have the spacing of the tubing for the windows sized to accept glass windows to purchase at a later date.

Royal, I hunt with both of my boys.. so there are usually 3 of us in the blind.. Works great.... and When I "HAVE TO" hunt by myself lots of legroom...

6 x 6 is the best - plenty of room for 3 people and a mansion for one.
