    boots-elephant skin

Am looking at my options, who has some? Do they wear as good as people say? Post some pics. I saw a pair of black Anderson Beans that really looked good.

I do not have any, but I always wanted some. The biggest complaint I have ever heard is people get tired of wearing them because you can never wear them out.

I had multiple pair of elephants over many years and wore them every day for work boots...got as many as 15 re-solings out of them before they would finally split at the lacings and I abused them...wet, muddy...just let them dry off and clean them with a wire brush.

The only downside is you don't really break in a pair of elephant boots...they break your feet in...

I've had a pair of Anderson Beans for 5 years now. Resoled them 6 times, and still going strong. I love them!

I had a pair where the bend at the toes broke in at the wrong point and it constantly gave me blisters on the top of the big toe. Never could get them to bend in the right spot and finally threw them away

My black elephant Lucchese's are my favorite boots. You won't be disappointed if they fit you to begin with.

I've got some grey Nocona elephants circa the 1980's that we worn a lot before I got them and are still in great shape. Had them resoled and dyed a time or two and they look as good as new!

A Doctor I work with at the ER wears his elephants every day. He just broke down and got a new pair, but he said his old ones were 20+ years old.
