This was real easy to do.
Cut the brim off of a hard hat.
Remove the webbing, and adjuster from the hat. You can put some padding in there if you want, but I didn't need any. You want it to set as low on your head as possible.
Figure out where you need it to get the proper angle, and drill a hole in the top of the hat toward the front.
Put a 1/4 - 20 bolt in the hole to attach the camera, and put a rubber strap through the hat that goes around the camera for stability.
Cover it with camo cloth, or whatever.
Put a chin strap on it.
I cut the front of this hard hat so that it fits down over the bill of a ball cap. That way when I set it in place, it is always looking where the bill of the cap is pointed.
You can use any camera that has a tripod receiver.
