alright welding finatics.....need some idears for a tripod stand

thinkin of makin a 5x5 platform with a swivel type seat in the middle and with sectional legs. i cant seem to figure out exactly how to make the top enclosed though....any ideas?

Dale has given about the best design that I've seen. About the only change I'd make in his design (and he's probably got this in mind already)...is that I'd put a lightweight metal topper on that enclosure.

make the tripod like cull......

then come down and make the platrorm like he did but make it all the way around the stand....

then bring posts up in each corner of the platform to desired height of enclosure.


then put railing around the top. make sure to gusset it

wrap enclosure with camo burlap and then cut shooting holes.



if you are totally enclosing it 5x5 will be to small to draw and shoot a bow.


make it 6x6
