    Temporary Electrical Fix

    *Disclaimer....

I do not recommend for anyone to try this or attempt to make electrical repairs unless you are a licensed electrician!

I did this until I can get the power company out to disconnect the house so I can make the correct repairs. I just feel more comfortable that the cables are not in a bind.

Last weekend, a limb fell across my power line and damaged my meter loop. Meter loop didnt have the corect hub on it in the first place.

    Anywho.....

    The damage....

I then chopped up the pipe nipple and welded a short piece on each side.

Good fix, pretty quick thinking. Don't prolong the repair for the TEMPORARY .

Good work! Just don't add any electrical grade silicone... Then it'd look good enough to keep as-is and you might not want to do the actual repair!
