I have been there several times in the past but last 2 trips were pretty poor. Few animals seen & no shopts by any of 2 groups. How was the seeing game from the stands? I have always liked sweetwater but a little dissapointed last couple times of few aniamls even seen. LAst trip was in 2005.

The deer in there now are mostly home breed now not the pen released deer from the 1st few years. They are as sharp as any whitetail. The deer are still there just much smarter. I dont hunt from there stands I take my own and get back in the woods. But even the guys hunting there stands were seeing deer 2 fallow bucks were taken and a few shots were missed.

I contacted them by phone and e-mail a few months back and NEVER heard back from the manager.....

Not a good sign in my opinion.

I live about 12 miles from this place. I may have to drive out past there one day soon.

A buddy of mine is there now hunting over Thanksgiving. He just called me and sent me a pick from his cell. He got a real nice 5X5 red stag

we have been 6 years now and absolutly love the hunting and the way we are treated. we look forward to the week of vacation and hunting every year. we go in feb. and the hunting is a lil harder but our group always has great opportunities at some great animals. the accomadations are wonderful and Jim Bob and Michael treat us wonderful. i would highly recommend this trip to anyone. we have taken younger guys from 18 all the way to 78 years of age and never had a problem and always had success.
