    Weekend Euro mounts & stand

Well, I simmered these skulls along with 7 others a couple weeks ago and have had them soaking in a dawn/ammonia solution for 2-weeks to pull what grease was in them out. I used 40% peroxide and Clarol ultra white to bleach them super white. I used a hair dryer to dry them out and some super glue gel to set the teeth and nose bones. The wife was at church while I did this in the living room I had an old set of Elk antlers that I stained and cut a couple pieces off a down Oak tree to make a base. I rough sanded with a tiger paw disc on a 4" grinder and stained it..I will clear coat it later this week..I then drilled a hole in the antler burr and epoxied a 4" long lag bolt in it. Then I pre-drilled the log and just screwed the antler in. Now it was time to place my wife and kids euros from this year..And there you have it! Also I will be placing a moss bed on the log and dress it up a little nicer later. I will update once 100% complete. Thanks for looking!!!!
