Went to where I had been trying to shoot a Tom for a while and I was finally able to go in the afternoon when the wind wasnt blowing. Had birds all around us but they where not to active you would hear one every now and then from a plane or a train.

This 17 pound osceola came out and wasnt 3-4 yards from the double bull I had to let him walk away and present a better shot. So I shot him at 10-11 yards hit him right where the wing meets the body. He runs off about 35 yards and flops over and breaks my arra. Oh well its worth it to me. Stats of the bird 17 pound osceola 8.5 inch beard and 3/4 spurs.
